CAULIFLOWER - BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 lg. head cauliflower
1 bunch fresh broccoli
1 med. purple onion, sliced
3/4 to 1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 (1.4 oz.) buttermilk salad dressing mix
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar

Break cauliflower into flowerets; wash thoroughly. Set aside. Trim off large leaves of broccoli. Remove stalks, separate into flowerets, and wash thoroughly. Reserve stalks for use in other recipes.

Combine cauliflower, broccoli, and onion; toss gently. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well and pour over vegetables, tossing gently. Cover and chill 8 hours. Yield: 6-8 servings.
