GREEN BEANS SUPREME 
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
2 pkgs. frozen French style green beans, cooked & drained
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cook onion in butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add sour cream, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add beans and pour into shallow baking dish. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 6.

Variations: Cook green beans with 1 beef bouillon cube, then drain. Top with Swiss cheese instead of cheddar.

Use 1 tablespoon prepared mustard (instead of sour cream) and 1 cup milk.
