CRANBERRY NECTAR 
A new way to serve an ancient fruit.

2 cups (1 pint) cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
1 cup diced peeled cantaloupe (or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen melon balls, thawed and drained)
1 egg white, unbeaten
2 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. allspice

Place cranberry juice and melon into a blender. Whirl at top speed for 30 seconds or until smooth. Strain.

Replace in blender with remaining ingredients. Whirl again at top speed for 30 seconds.

Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.

Suggested garnish: sprig of fresh mint and a long spear of cantaloupe.

Serves 2.
