CHEESE STRAWS 
1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1 stick butter
2 c. plain flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. salt

Mix together butter and cheese, adding flour with red pepper and salt. Mix well, forming into a ball. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Roll out on floured paper to 1/4 inch. Cut strips with pastry cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-10 minutes or until lightly brown. Watch closely.
