AUNT RUTH'S CASSEROLE 
10 slices bread (dried)
2 c. chicken (turkey, ham, crab, shrimp)
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. butter
4 eggs
3 c. milk
Salt to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup (thinned with a little milk)
1 c. grated cheese

Break up bread and put in 9x13 inch baking dish. Add chicken, celery, onion, and butter thinned with a little of the milk. In separate bowl put eggs and beat slightly. Add milk and beat well.

Pour over ingredients in dish and salt slightly. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minute, then add 1 can cream of mushroom soup thinned with milk. Sprinkle cheese over top and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
