EASY BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 tbsp. lard
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk

In mixing bowl, cut lard into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, make a well in the center, add buttermilk all at once, stir quickly until dough follows fork around bowl. Pinch off pieces of dough slightly larger than a golf ball. Form each piece into a smooth ball. Place on greased baking sheet. Press to flatten tops. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes approximately 15 biscuits.
