BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
1 lb. sausage (bulk or link)
4 or 5 slices bread
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard (optional)
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Tear up 4 slices bread, any kind, and place pieces in greased 9x13x2 inch baking dish. Brown and drain 1 pound bulk sausage meat or links in skillet. Drain off fat. Cut links in slices. Spoon sausage over bread. Sprinkle with 1 cup grated sharp cheese. Beat together eggs, milk, mustard (optional), salt and pepper. Pour over mixture in baking dish.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. The cheese will rise to the top during baking. This recipe can be prepared the night before, covered and refrigerated.
