1 c. butter, room temperature 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 c. oil 1 c. rolled oats (instant or old-fashioned) 1 c. crushed corn flakes 1/2 c. coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg and mix well. Add oats, corn flakes, coconut and nuts; stir well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture, mix well and add vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet or make into small balls. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes. |
