SOUR CREAM SWISS STEAK 
2 lbs. top round or boneless chuck steak
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. sour cream

Cut the meat into serving size pieces. Dust with flour and pound to 1/4" thickness. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika and dry mustard. Heat the oil and butter in a heavy, deep oven proof skillet. Add the meat and brown on both sides. Add the onion, garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar and sour cream. Cover and bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes until tender.
