MEAT BALLS IN GINGERSNAP SAUCE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg
3/4 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Combine and make meat balls.

SAUCE:

14 1/2 oz. can clear chicken broth
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. dark raisins
1/4 c. (heaping) coarse gingersnap crumbs

Boil all ingredients in large skillet. Add meat balls. Cook, uncovered, over low heat for 10 minutes. Turn meat balls and cook for 10 minutes longer. Stir. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
