SHRIMP PATTIES 
1 lb. raw shrimp, chopped
1/2 c. onions, minced
1/4 c. celery, chopped
1 tbsp. bell pepper
1/4 c. instant potatoes
Salt & pepper to taste
Sprinkle of garlic salt
1 1/4 c. water (optional)
1 raw egg

Mix shrimp, celery, bell pepper and onions. Add eggs, instant potatoes, salt and pepper. Shape into patties. Put oil in skillet (cover just the bottom lightly; fry until golden brown. Pour out oil and place patties back in pan with 1/4 cup water. Cover, let simmer 20 minutes. Serve over rice. 6 servings.
