BAKED TOMATOES 
Halve large ripe tomatoes. Sprinkle with seasoned salt, garlic salt, fresh ground pepper, basil and oregano. Also sprinkle with sugar. Let stand 15 minutes. Add a large thin slice of onion to cover each half. Cover onion slice with an equally large slice of sharp Cheddar cheese.

Melt butter; add minced garlic and toss with seasoned bread crumbs. Cover each tomato half with some of this mixture. Bake 250 degrees for 1 hour.
