SAUSAGE AND RICE 
1 1/2 or 2 lbs. sausage (Jimmy Dean)
1 1/2 c. diced celery
1 c. diced onion
1/2 c. slivered almonds (may substitute water chestnuts)
1 bell pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. raw rice
1 pkg. chicken noodle soup (dehydrated)
4 1/2 c. hot water

Brown and break up sausage. Pour off excess fat. Mix and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

I have used the hot sausage for a spicier dish.
