APPLESAUCE CAKE 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. seedless raisins
1 c. black walnuts, chopped

Cream shortening and sugar, stir in egg. Stir in applesauce; add dry ingredients. Mix in raisins and nuts. Pour into lightly greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes until cake tests done.
