RED CABBAGE SALAD | |
1/2 head red cabbage 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar 3 tbsp. sugar 4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/8 tsp. garlic powder Shred cabbage so it is irregular, with some fine and some coarse shreds into a bowl. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over cabbage and mix well. Let stand overnight in refrigerator to allow flavors to mellow and stir several times. Serves 6-8. |
