2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts; optional
1 (4 serving size) pkg. of chocolate or vanilla instant pudding

Mix flour and soda. Set aside. Combine sugar, butter, pudding mix, and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
