1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 beaten eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs and milk. Sift dry ingredients and add to applesauce mixture. Blend well by hand. DO NOT USE ELECTRIC MIXER. Add pecans and stir. Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan until done.

OPTIONAL TOPPING:

Sprinkle on top before baking:

1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend together.
