PARADISE PUMPKIN PIE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar

Combine above until well blended. Add 1 beaten egg. Mix well; spread on bottom of 9 inch pie shell.

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Mix well and pour over cheese mixture in pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. When done, brush with dark syrup and garnish with pecan halves.
