HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSING 
1/4 c. Bisquick mix
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/3 c. white vinegar
1 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool slightly; refrigerate until chilled. Stir well before serving. About 2 cups salad dressing.

Creamy onion dressing: Mix 1 cup homemade dressing, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoons milk and 2 tablespoons green onions finely chopped.

Russian dressing: Mix 1/2 cup homemade dressing and 1/4 cup chili sauce.

Thousand Island dressing: Mix 1/2 cup homemade dressing, 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish, 1 tablespoon catsup and 1 hard cooked egg, chopped.

Tomato-cucumber dressing: Mix 1 cup homemade dressing, 1/2 cup each chopped tomatoes and cucumber, 1 teaspoon finely chopped onion and 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed if desired.
