HAMBURGER STEW | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 gal. water 1 can corn, drained 1 can green beans, drained 1 can peas, drained 1 (1 lb.) bag baby carrots, diced 1/2 onion, diced 2 large potatoes Cook hamburger in a skillet. Drain while running hot water over hamburger. Place hamburger in a small stockpot with water, corn, green beans, peas, carrots, onion and potatoes. Season, using equal amounts of salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Simmer for 1 hour or until carrots are done to liking. This will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks or in the freezer for months. If you want it thicker, add another potato. |
