ORANGE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2/3 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
Pinch of salt
1 orange (grind rind with raisins)

Mix the ingredients, adding the raisins last. Squeeze the juice from the orange and add to 1/2 cup sugar. (This is to be poured on the cake when taken out of the oven.) Bake cake at 350 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes.
