GRANNY'S CHOCOLATE PIE 
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. (heaping) cornstarch
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar well with the cornstarch (melt butter). Add cocoa. Mix the evaporated milk with water to make one cup. Add vanilla and eggs to mixture. Bake at 350 degrees in crust until done but still soft in center of top. Do not overcook. Makes one pie. Note: The secret of this pie is mixing the ingredients well.
