TERIYAKI SAUCE 
1 1/2 lbs. meat (any type)
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. Aji (mono) glutamate
2 tbsp. sherry
1 clove garlic, peeled & crushed
1" ginger root, peel & split lengthwise, then crush

Mix all ingredients and put pierced meat into mixture for at least 24 hours. Bar-b-q or broil meat.
