STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
Milk to make biscuit-type dough
1 qt. strawberries

Stem and slice strawberries. Cover with sugar. Let stand overnight in the refrigerator. Divide dough into 2 parts, flatten on greased pan; bake at 450 degrees for 10-13 minutes (as biscuit). Butter tops, cover with strawberries. Stack layers.
