GRANDMA W. MEAT LOAF | |
2 beaten eggs 3/4 c. milk 1/2 c. fine bread crumbs 1/4 c. finely chopped onion 2 tbsp. parsley 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/4 c. catsup 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. ground sage In bowl combine eggs and milk. Add bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, sage and pepper. Add ground beef. Thoroughly mix meat and seasonings. Spoon meat mixture into a 5 1/2 cup ring mold. Firmly pat meat into the mold or mold meat mixture by hand into a ring shape. Place onto baking pan. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove fat and meat drippings with a spoon. Glaze meat loaf by combining catsup, brown sugar and dry mustard, spread over meat loaf. Bake 10 additional minutes. |
