MEATLOAF - BARBECUE STYLE | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs 1 onion, finely chopped 1 egg, beaten 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce (Hunts) 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. vinegar 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Mix together beef, crumbs, onion, egg and 1/2 can of tomato sauce. Form into a loaf and put into a shallow pan, about 7 x 10 inches. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meatloaf. Bake and baste for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
