WATERGATE DESSERT 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 stick butter (softened)

Mix together flour, butter and chopped nuts. Press into a 9 x 12 inch pan, or 10 1/2 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool. Mix together cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar.

8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 carton Cool Whip (8 or 9 oz.)
1 c. powdered sugar
2 pkgs. instant pudding mix (any flavor, lemon or pistachio is good)
3 c. milk

Spread over cooled crust carefully. Mix with mixer instant pudding and milk. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Spread rest of Cool Whip over top. Refrigerate.
