COCOA APPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 c. apples, finely chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 c. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. chocolate syrup

Beat together eggs, sugar, butter and water until fluffy. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon and allspice. Add dry ingredients slowly. Fold in apples, vanilla and chocolate chips.

Bake in a floured pan at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Top with melted chocolate chips; add milk and chocolate syrup. Spread over warm cake (topping hardens when cooled).
