6 c. rolled oats 1 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. sliced almonds 1/2 c. coconut 1/2 c. sunflower seeds 3/4 c. honey 1/2 c. vegetable oil 2 tsp. vanilla Heat oats and wheat germ on cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Combine honey, oil and vanilla; set aside. Combine all other ingredients and add oats and wheat germ. Pour honey and oil mixture over it and mix thoroughly. Spread evenly in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, stirring often (especially toward the end or it will burn). Cool. Add raisins or dates. |
