BREAKFAST PRUNE PIE 
1 c. pitted cooked prunes
1 1/2 c. finely-crushed enriched cereal flakes
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 tsp. sugar
1 env. unflavored gelatin
1/3 c. honey
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. skim milk
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Finely snip prunes, reserving 8 whole prunes for garnish. Combine cereal, butter and sugar. Press mixture evenly onto bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate. Chill while preparing rest of pie.

Mix gelatin, honey and salt in heavy pan. Beat egg and milk together; add to gelatin mixture. Cook over very low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat and cool. Blend cottage cheese in blender or pass through a sieve; add to gelatin mixture with vanilla and snipped prunes. Turn into crust; chill until firm. Garnish with reserved whole prunes. When serving, spoon any loose crumbs over each portion.
