GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 tbsp. baking molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream together sugar and shortening. Beat eggs into creamed mixture and add molasses. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed things. Make into small balls and roll in sugar. Do not flatten. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
