GARLIC CHEESE GRITS 
1 c. uncooked grits
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. milk
2 beaten stiff eggs
1/2 c. chopped green onions

Cook grits according to instructions. Stir in cheese, butter and garlic powder. Blend in milk. Fold in eggs and green onions. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees. Serves 8.
