SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE 
1 c. water
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. catsup
Salt
Juice of 1/4 lemon
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water

Combine water, sugar, vinegar, catsup, salt and lemon juice in saucepan. Bring to a boil and thicken with paste made from cornstarch and water. Put on layered chicken and bake.
