SAUSAGE LASAGNA 
I found this recipe in a newspaper about 25 years ago. It is my families favorite! I always reverse the Mozzarella and meat sauce so the sauce is on top. Love the cheese bubbling through the sauce!

1 lb. pork sausage, mild
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes (Hunts)
2 (8 oz. ea.) cans tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
2 eggs
2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1/2 grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. sliced mozzarella cheese
10 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cook sausage, onion and garlic, drain. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar. basil and oregano. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Beat eggs, stir in cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese.

In a 13x9-inch baking dish, place layers of half the noodles, cottage cheese mixture, meat sauce and Mozzarella. Repeat layers one more time.

Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes. Cover with foil and let set for at least 15 minutes before serving.
