OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES 
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 (1 oz.) squares semi-sweet chocolate

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut chocolate into 1/4 inch chunks. Combine flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.

In separate bowl, beat together butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg. Stir in flour mixture and add oats and chocolate. Drop dough by level teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are brown. Let cookies cool 1 minute before removing. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
