SPICED WALNUTS 
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. chopped walnuts

Combine water, sugar, and spices in pan and bring to medium boil, stirring occasionally. Let boil for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add the walnuts. Stir until mixture starts to granulate and then pour into shallow buttered dish. Continue stirring in dish until completely granulated again. After walnuts cool, break apart into desired size pieces.
