3 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. applesauce
1 c. pumpkin
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. raisins
2 c. nuts

Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Add applesauce and pumpkin. Sift all dry ingredients; add a little at a time, beating well. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into a tube pan. Use waxed paper in bottom and grease the rest. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool 15 minutes. Take out of pan. Glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar, maple extract and 2 tablespoons water.
