EARTHQUAKE CAKE 
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut
German chocolate cake mix
8 oz. cream cheese
1 stick butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. carton Cool Whip

Place nuts and coconut on the bottom of well greased 9 x 13 pan.

Mix the cake mix as directed on box. Pour over the nuts and coconut.

Melt cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour mixture over cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Frost with Cool Whip. For a decorative touch, shave chocolate on top.
