5-6 lb. rump roast Salt ) cans tomato juice 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce Add salt to the bottom of the pan you will use. Wash meat thoroughly in cold water. Put the meat in the pot (no water) and sear on all sides over a low flame. After searing, add 2 cans tomato juice and 1 can tomato sauce. Raise flame so that the meat cooks. Cook 1/2 hour per pound of meat. |
