STRAWBERRY CANDY OR BONBON
CENTERS
 
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 full c. marshmallows
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. macaroon coconut
2 oz. red sugar
Coloring, if desired

Melt marshmallow in corn syrup. Pour over mixture of macaroon coconut and vanilla, then color as desired. Shape a small amount into a "strawberry" and roll in red sugar. A strawberry marzipan leaf completes the reality.

For bonbon centers, do not color, roll into balls of desired size, dip in chocolate or summer coating of various colors.
