CAJUN STYLE BROILED HALIBUT 
2 tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper to taste
4 (4-6 oz.) halibut steaks, thawed if necessary

Mix together all ingredients until well combined. Sprinkle approximately 1/2 teaspoon spice mixture over the surface of each halibut steak before broiling. Broil 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Save remaining spice mixture in airtight container for future uses. Makes 4 servings.
