MARSHMALLOW ICING | |
2 egg whites 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1/3 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted 12 reg. marshmallows, cut up Combine egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar an water in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water and beat with mixer or rotary beater until mixture holds its shape 4 to 7 minutes. Fold in vanilla and marshmallows. The heat of frosting will melt marshmallows. Fold in melted chocolate. I beat in the marshmallows and vanilla. |
