SOFT PRETZELS 
1 pkg. dry yeast (1 tbsp.)
1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
Egg and 2 tbsp. water to brush on before baking

Mix everything but salt. Knead until smooth. Add more flour if necessary. Roll into into snake. Form pretzel shape. Place on greased cookie sheet. Brush with egg and sprinkle with salt. Bake until brown at edges, 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees.
