SOURDOUGH BISCUITS | |
3 c. Starter Dough 2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. melted butter, salad oil, or shortening Mix all. Turn onto floured board or pastry cloth; knead 1/2 minute at least. A soft, just barely sticky dough. Roll out with floured rolling pin until 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Dip in melted butter and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 370 to 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Yields: 30 biscuits. |
