MOCK LASAGNA 
1 lb. pork sausage or hamburger
15 oz. can Italian garlic tomato sauce
8 oz. can regular tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. each garlic salt, pepper and dried basil leaves, crushed
7 oz. pkg. macaroni, cooked and drained
2 c. cream style cottage cheese
2 c. shredded processed American, cheddar or Colby cheese

Brown the meat; drain. Add tomato sauce, spices and water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a 2 quart casserole, layer 1/2 each macaroni, cottage cheese, shredded cheese and meat sauce. Repeat. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
