SAUTEED SCALLOPS 
1 lb. scallops
3 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. wine or lemon juice
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. parsley
Dash paprika

Coat scallops with bread crumbs. Melt butter in skillet. Add seasonings. Fry scallops until lightly brown, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat but keep warm. Add wine or lemon juice to skillet, simmer and mix with drippings. Pour over scallops.
