1 (8 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces or squares 1/3 c. condensed milk 1 tbsp. coffee flavored liqueur 1/4 tsp. almond flavor extract Powdered sugar as needed In top of double boiler melt chocolate over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove saucepan from heat; stir in condensed milk, liqueur and almond extract. chill mixture until easy to shape (about 40 minutes). With powdered sugar dusted hands, shape a rounded teaspoon of chocolate mixture into a ball, then roll balls into powdered sugar. Store in covered container. May be frozen no longer than 2 weeks in a single layer. To serve after freezing, let stand 10 minutes and place in individual paper candy cups. |
