CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW BARS 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
20 lg. marshmallows
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Optional: 1/2 c. nuts

Mix together brown sugar, white sugar and shortening, then add 2 eggs and beat well. Add 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon baking soda that has been sifted together. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix well. Add 1 package of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup nuts. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan for 20 minutes at 325 degrees then top with 20 large marshmallow sand bake at 300 degrees for 15 more minutes. Cool and frost.
