THE WRIGHT PUNCH | |
1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice 1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade 1 (64 oz.) can pineapple juice 2 tsp. almond extract 3 1/2 c. sugar 5 c. water 2 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry Jello 1 gal. water Ginger ale Mix the first six ingredients in a kettle. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the jello. Stir until dissolved. Then add the gallon of water. Mix well and pour into 4 half gallon containers. Freeze until ready to serve. When wanting to serve, thaw (as many of the 4 containers as needed) for 2 to 3 hours at room temperature. To each half gallon container of punch in the punch bowl, add 1 quart of ginger ale. Stir well. Since the punch does not thaw completely, no ice is needed. Each half gallon container of punch and quart of ginger ale will serve 15 to 18. Total recipe will serve 60-70. "A delicious punch and very convenient because it can be prepared ahead of time and frozen. Keeps a long time in the freezer." |
