CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE 
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. cloves, ground
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

TOPPING:

1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
2 c. hot water

Mix all ingredients (except topping) until well blended. Spread in an 8 x 8 inch pan. Mix brown sugar and cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Best served warm. Good with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
